This course aims to provide participants with a specific method to evaluate companies as to their environmental behavior using self-evaluation procedures with the use of a simplified low-cost application methodology, but in condition of resulting in an excellent instrument to improve the processes of entrepreneurial management directed to the environment quality.

Environmental Auditing
This forty hours course is to provide participants with the theory and practices of environmental auditing. It will be presented the state of art of environmental auditing, of the systems of environmental management, of the ruling in environmental subjects (with emphasis at the ISO 14,000 series), and of environmental certificate. In what refers to public environmental auditing it will be presented the legislation in force at the time and also new laws not yet in force, when it will be dealt with issues related to their implementation to avoid distortions in their use.

Has as objective the discussion in theory and practice of methodologies, principles, and techniques used in environmental educational programs, with special emphasis on methodologies based on projects.

This course has as objective the improvement of the knowledge necessary in the legal aspects of the area providing legal basis and legislation of the environmental issues in Brazil.

Landscape in Urban Areas
This course is to provide students with landscape references and criteria for the structuring of areas for leisure and recreation. With a practical basis it specifically aims to deal with the main historical aspects of landscaping, with the concepts and principles of composition and directives for the urban planning of public spaces related to the landscaping of parks and squares.

Cities Statute
The objective is to present the legal scope and consequences of Law # 10257/2001, to the approach and interpretation of the directives foreseen in article II of the Statute of the Cities the analysis and examples of the urban political instruments created by the Statute, and also the examples of concrete social actions that contemplate the principles of the new legislation.

Workshop – Preparation of Activities for Environmental Education
This course aims to provide participants with basic knowledge about the preparation and application of activities to influence ecological program of environmental education starting from live activities. It is mainly a practical course with major part of the classes carried out as an interactive activity.

Bio-architecture
This course will present an introductory and an overall view of bio-architecture dealing with ecological projects and planning using specific themes and examples of architectonic works that deal with the discussed subjects, thus advancing on the environmental discussions on conservation, sustainability and technological development.

Community Mediation or Multi-Parts
To present to participants the concepts of mediation or multi-parts and arm them with an impartial and balanced vision, working as facilitators, without deciding powers, an agent of communication among involved parties, manager of the process of identification and the aggregation of the various interests, in the attempt of peaceful and agreed solutions of the disputes within the community and to prevent problems.

Environmental Mediation
To solve conflicts and to create consensus in issues that involves the environment is a fundamental procedure in the search of sustainability. Thus, it is necessary the use of know-how on how to manage conflicts and expectancies of those involved, using productive agreements and democratic solutions.
Public: professionals of the environment and related areas, such as experts from the government, private sector, and ONG (Non-Governmental Organizations) , engineers, lawyers, executives, managers, coordinators, environmental agents, police force, among others.

Implementation of the Agenda 21 Local
Created at Rio 92 Conference, Agenda 21 is an important plan of action for the sustainable environmental management at local, national and international levels. Nevertheless, its use is a complicated process because it requires the participation of all sectors of the city. This course aims to prepare local agents to act as coordinators for the implementation of Agenda 21 locally making available information about the document, and tools for the organizations of every stage that involves the process.
